Maura Porta, Ph.D.

Dr. Porta received her Laurea Degree (equivalent to the combination of B.A. and M.A degrees) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from the University of Genova (Genova, Italy) in 2000, and her Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Physiology from Loyola University Chicago in 2006.  Dr Porta completed postdoctoral training in the Department of Physiology at Midwestern University Downers Grove in 2009 and, in the same year, began her career in the Department of Physiology in the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at the rank of Instructor. Anthony Peluso, DrPH

Dr. Anthony Peluso is an Assistant Professor in the Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) Program. He is the course director for Behavioral and Social Aspects of Public Health and Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Response and aids in the delivery of the M.P.H. degree program in Global One Health at Midwestern University’s Glendale, AZ and Downers Grove, IL campuses. Seungyong Lee, Ph.D., Ph.D., M.S.

Dr. Seungyong Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology, College of Graduate Studies. He received his Ph.D. degrees in Applied Physiology from the University of Texas at Arlington and completed his training as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Surgical Pathology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Before joining MWU, he was a Dean's Postdoctoral to Faculty Transition Fellow in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Toledo, College of Medicine and Life Sciences as part of his research training.  His research

Adebayo James Molehin, Ph.D., M.S.

Dr. Molehin earned his Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) and Master of Science (M.S.) degrees from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria; Master of Research (M. Res.) degree from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom; and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the University of Queensland, Australia. He obtained his postdoctoral training at the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, Australia and at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC), USA.
