Inhaled Albuterol Feline Study
Seeking research participants for our Inhaled Albuterol Feline Study.
Summary of Study
Our goal is to learn more about the effects of the drug Albuterol on excessive potassium levels in our feline friends. This study will help us find ways to treat this life-threatening condition. Feline patients will undergo minor surgery for catheter placement and will need to be hospitalized at MWU CAC for 48 hours.
Patient criteria for involvement
- Cats must be healthy and between the ages of 1-7 years.
- Cats must weigh more than 3kg (6.6lbs).
- Cats must be friendly with strangers and comfortable with being handled.
Participants will receive free bloodwork and physical exam.
