Collaborators

Clinical Research Services (CRS) works with biomedical companies, veterinary pharmaceutical companies, laboratories, and collaborative institutions on clinical trials and basic research.  Our goal is to streamline the clinical trial process while providing the highest quality of work.  Getting started with the IHI is simple, just contact us with your needs and we will assign a team member to follow up.

For projects with a protocol

Many sponsors or collaborators already have a protocol in place. For those projects, the process is generally as follows:

  1. CRS receives non-confidential summary and completes site questionnaire
  2. Confidentiality Agreement (CDA) signed
  3. CRS receives start-up packet (protocol, budget, informed consent form) and CTA.
  4. Parallel review process starts with Legal, IRB, and other departments

For projects without a protocol

CRS can work with sponsors and collaborators to develop the protocol, case report forms, and budget. The process generally proceeds as follows:

  1. Non-confidential discussion with collaborator on the proposed project
  2. CRS generates a draft statement of work and estimated budget for review
  3. Confidentiality Agreement (CDA) signed
  4. CRS drafts formal plan (protocol, budget, etc.) for review
  5. Protocol and budget approved by Sponsor
  6. Protocol approved by IACUC or IRB
  7. Research Agreement is executed
  8. CRS commences with proposed work
