About Canyon Vista Medical Center
Welcome to the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Canyon Vista Medical Center. Our goal is to provide trainees with advanced and concentrated training in the specialty of Internal Medicine. Trainees will be competent and proficient in professional independent practice in Internal Medicine.
Program Director
Dr. Emad Hammode graduated from the Jordan University of Science and Technology and completed his residency training at the University of Arizona. He has published research and was part of the winning team in Arizona for Medical Jeopardy (Doctor’s Dilemma) 2014. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys outdoor activities and cooking. Dr. Hammode has been a Hospitalist at Canyon Vista Medical Center since 2015.

Our mission is to provide resident trainees with advanced and concentrated training in the specialty of Internal Medicine in an environment that fosters a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and safety.
