Delta Dental of Illinois Creates Diversity Scholarship for Midwestern University Students

Midwestern University in cooperation with Delta Dental of Illinois is pleased to announce the establishment of a new scholarship fund intended to foster student body diversity and extend opportunities for healthcare students from underrepresented minority groups. Two $50,000 scholarships will be awarded annually to eligible students of the University’s College of Dental Medicine-Illinois.

Midwestern Students Partner with Local Agencies to Host Valentine’s Event

Midwestern University students recently hosted a virtual Valentine’s Dance for 80 clients from the South East Association for Special Parks and Recreation (SEASPAR), the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA), and the West Chicago High School Best Buddies Program. The virtual event was organized by students in the Clinical Psychology Program and sponsored by the College of Health Sciences, the Office of Student Services, and the Clinical Psychology Program.

As part of their comprehensive pharmacy education, Midwestern University students participate in a variety of clinical rotations at local hospitals and care centers.
