Area high school students visit Midwestern University to learn more about the skills needed for successful careers.

Midwestern University hosted the Chamber630 Attainable Futures Program on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, on the Downers Grove Campus. The Attainable Futures Program is a collaborative effort between local high schools and Chamber630 and area business leaders. The program aims to help high school students develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the workplace.

Nearly 100 high school students attended the full-day session at Midwestern University and learned about the importance of networking, resumes, business etiquette, and interview skills. Representatives from Midwestern University also highlighted the variety of healthcare careers available to graduates of the University and provided a tour of the laboratory used by students in the Optometry Program.
