Why Did You Decide to Attend Midwestern University?
I decided to attend Midwestern University for several reasons. First, its location in Downers Grove allowed me to stay close to home, nearby friends and family. Secondly, I worked with multiple alumni from Midwestern University who always had great things to say and that made my decision to attend Midwestern easy. Finally, the Pharm.D. program at Midwestern is only 3.5 years long which is an advantage over many of the other schools offering a pharmacy program.
What Made You Want to be a Pharmacist?
I wanted to pursue my Pharm.D. degree after working in a retail pharmacy. The pharmacists I worked with inspired me to become a pharmacist myself. In the two years that I have worked by their side, I learned a fair amount of information. Even though I felt like I was learning a lot from them, I knew that earning a degree in pharmacy would be much more rewarding.
What Do You Enjoy Most About Being a Student at Midwestern University?
The staff and classes are all amazing. Outside of academics, I have made many new friendships that I hope will last a lifetime. I am also part of the intramural basketball league that includes students from all the other programs at Midwestern University.
