Midwestern University Dental Students Awarded Prestigious Scholarship
The Illinois State Dental Society Foundation (ISDS) awarded scholarships to two Midwestern University students. The scholarship committee selected a total of six students from several Illinois dental schools from 45 applicants. Representing a third of the scholarship winners are Midwestern University’s College of Dental Medicine – Illinois (CDMI) students Julia Brainard (CDMI ’24) and Aldona Puchalski (CDMI ’24).

PharmAcademy Introduces High School Students to Pharmacy Careers
PharmAcademy is an event held by the College of Pharmacy, Downers Grove (CPDG) at Midwestern University to inform high school students about various aspects of a pharmacy career, as they contemplate their future college options. The event was attended by 39 students from Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, and held under the direction of Sheila Wang, Pharm.D., BCPS, BCIDP, Professor, Pharmacy Practice at the College of Pharmacy.

Kathleen H. Goeppinger, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of Midwestern University, is pleased to announce that Michael M. Bond, D.O. (CCOM 1997), and Nicholas C. Zagotta, J.D., have been appointed to the University’s Board of Trustees.
