Stephanie Cotton Christensen, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
Dr. Christensen received her Ph.D. from Arizona State University in 2012. She completed her Master's degree at The University of Texas at Austin and began her teaching career in 2004 at Northern Arizona University after working for several years as a Speech-Language Pathologist in medical settings. In 2016 she became an Assistant Professor in the Speech-Language Pathology Program at Midwestern University, became the Program Director in 2017 and was promoted to Associate Professor with Tenure in 2021.

Cindy Krizizke, M.S., CCC-SLP
Cindy Krizizke, M.S., CCC-SLP, M.Ed. received her Masters Degree in Speech Pathology from Purdue University. She also earned a Masters Degree in Education Administration at Roosevelt University. Over time, she became the Speech-Language Coordinator and Assistive Technology Coordinator at a northwest suburban school district in Illinois. She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at MWU. She teaches required courses Clinical Practicum I and Clinical Practicum II and supervises student clinicians at the Speech-Language Institute. For over 25 years, Mrs. Krizizke has served individuals and their families who demonstrate need in communication disorders. Her areas of interest include pediatric speech-language disorders, autism, early intervention services, and pragmatic language.
