Being a student at Midwestern University was definitely hard work and fast-paced, but it was not competitive here. Everyone just wanted to help each other and in that aspect it was just really welcoming. People studied together and shared ideas.
I studied to become a podiatrist in part because of my own experiences working at a running shoe store.
Midwestern University helped me be a practitioner who can utilize my understanding of patients' occupations in therapy in order to help them to live life to the fullest.
Not many aspiring dentists have the opportunity to help lead an entire dental program and I jumped at the chance to be a part of it. It's an honor to pave the way and set the bar for future CDMI classes.
The faculty members encourage you to participate in class and volunteer opportunities, and they really want you to succeed. It is very engaging for students, and it helped me in my future professional career.
