Midwestern University Faculty to Discuss Opioid Crisis at Free Public Presentation

Three faculty members from Midwestern University in Glendale will participate in a free public presentation about the ongoing opioid crisis in America and non-opioid alternatives for pain management. The presentation will take place at the Glendale Foothills Library on April 3rd at 6:30 PM, as part of the University's free monthly Community Health Lecture Series.

Midwestern Faculty Member Named Public Policy Fellow by National Association

A Midwestern University faculty member was recently named a Public Policy Fellow by the American Association of Immunologists (AAI).

Michelle Swanson-Mungerson, Ph.D.

Dr. Michelle Swanson-Mungerson earned her Ph.D. in Immunology from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in 2002 followed by a post-doctoral fellowship at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University until 2008. She then became a faculty member at Midwestern University where she teaches immunology and infectious disease to multiple programs. She is a National Faculty Member for the NBOME and contributes to the COMLEX and the Foundations of Biomedical Sciences COMAT. She is a member of the American Association of Immunology and serves on their Education Committee. She
