The Office of Development and Alumni Relations and the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are teaming up to host MWU Alumni Diversity Council Day of Mentoring and Service- EMPOWER 2024, which stands for Engage, Mentor, Promote, Opportunity, Welcomes, Embrace, Respect.
This event underscores our commitment to embracing diversity and fostering a culture of inclusivity, which are integral to academic excellence, skilled patient care, and community growth. Join us for the entire day or as your schedule allows. Students from all MWU colleges and programs welcome!
Note - Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided.
What is the MWU Alumni Diversity Council?
The Midwestern University Alumni Diversity Council members serve as ambassadors for the University, representing a variety of healthcare careers, cultural backgrounds and geographic regions. Contributing their perspectives, skills, networks and expertise, the Council will work together to identify opportunities to influence university priorities, support and promote diversity initiatives, and collaborating with the entire Midwestern University academic family. The Council members are all Midwestern University who represent both colleges and programs from both the Glendale and Downers Grove campus.
