Payment of Tuition and Fees
All accepted International matriculates who are requesting an I-20 document in order to obtain an F-1 student visa OR who are not U.S. citizens/ permanent residents/ eligible non-citizens must prepay tuition, and in some cases other mandatory program fees for the first year of their educational program 45 days prior to the first day of the first quarter of each academic year. Furthermore, the student must prepay tuition and in some cases other mandatory program fees for each successive year at the start of each academic year on the University's stated due date.
In addition, at Midwestern University, we are pleased to let you know that you can lock yourself into the current tuition rate for the entire length of your program. Prepaying tuition for the entire length of the program not only ensures that you lock yourself into the current tuition rate, but also the estimated annual 4% - 7% tuition rate increases, will not impact you. In the long run you will be saving thousands of dollars!
Please note if an individual's program is extended for any reason, additional tuition may be charged, which will require a prepayment. Submit your prepaid tuition payment to the Office of Student Financial Services no later than 45 days before the start of the class. If for any reason, you are unable to prepay the tuition, please contact the Student Financial Services office at your respective campus.
Also, please refer to the estimated Cost of Attendance to help understand your costs and educational expenses. Historically, tution has increased between 4% and 7% annually. Tuition rates will be subject to change each academic year for all enrolled students.
Please note that our refund policy is based on Federal Regulations, so all prepaid tuition is refunded on a prorated basis for anyone who withdraws prior to program completion. Please see our online University Catalog for full details on the MWU refund policy.
