- Nurse anesthetists manage anesthesia delivery in concert with physicians and other healthcare professionals in a number of environments, including urban and rural hospitals, same-day surgery centers, pain clinics, and more. Midwestern University offers two-year master’s degree and Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice completion programs.
