Kathleen H. Goeppinger, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of Midwestern University, is pleased to announce that the Podiatric Medicine Program at the University’s Glendale Campus is now the Midwestern University Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine, effective October 1, 2020.

Midwestern’s Podiatric Medicine Program was originally founded in 2004 within the University’s College of Health Sciences. With its new status, the College becomes Midwestern University’s thirteenth College across two campuses. The College offers the four-year Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree and provides complete family podiatric care at the Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic’s Foot and Ankle Institute.

Jeffrey L. Jensen, D.P.M., FACFAS, has been appointed as the Interim Dean of the College. Melanie Violand, D.P.M., FACFAS, will assume the role of Associate Dean.
