Translational Adapted Group (TAG; PI: Schea Fissel) Lab of the Speech-Language Pathology Program at Midwestern University’s College of Health Sciences, Glendale Campus, and the Glendale Library are hosting a series of one-hour, family-centered shared reading events at the Foothills Branch. This event is designed for families of children ages 2-4 years of age, but family members of all ages are welcome to attend.

Midwestern University Speech-Language Pathology students offer this event monthly in both English and Spanish with many opportunities for movement. Each event offers a craft for children to make and take home, shared interactive book reading, songs, and parent coaching, all designed to make literacy engaging and fun for young children. Please sign up ahead of time on the Glendale Library Event Calendar (
