High-school students enjoy hands-on educational experiences as part of the annual Health Sciences Career Day offered on both the Downers Grove and Glendale campuses.

Midwestern University opened its campuses in Arizona and Illinois to curious high-school students to showcase the possibilities offered by a variety of healthcare careers as part of the annual Health Sciences Career Day in March. Nearly 300 of our Midwestern students and faculty volunteered their time and passion for their program to interact with over 1,200 high school students across both our campuses.

These events provide important community education outreach for the University and help to build interest among science-minded youngsters who are contemplating future careers in the healthcare industry. While on campus for the event, high school students interacted with Midwestern faculty and student volunteers and participated in interactive presentations that included an anatomy lab, surgical skills lab, dental simulation, veterinary medicine, and more.
