IL OT Social Meet Up

Home / About / MWU Now / Events / IL OT Social Meet Up

Introducing Elevate Midwestern, a group of MWU OT faculty and alumni who identify as members of historically marginalized groups and allies. Our focus is to support the well-being of occupational therapy students who identify as belonging to historically marginalized groups in the MWU Occupational Therapy program.

Our mentorship program provides support for students from a variety of historically marginalized groups in their role as students at MWU and preparing them to be occupational therapy practitioners. We do this by providing the space and opportunities for students to identify with mentors that elevate each other by navigating barriers and authentically expressing experiences.

We invite you to our first social event to learn more about the program on Thursday, January 12th.This will also be a fun opportunity to socialize with other alumni and students.

A light meal with options for dietary restrictions will be served. We’ll have plenty of time to get to know each other and ask questions.

Registration has closed.
