Curtis Lunt (AZCOM 2026)

My name is Curtis Lunt and I’m a first-year medical student in the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. I was born and raised in the East-Valley and went to Arizona State University for my undergraduate. I graduated in 2021 majoring in biomedical sciences with a minor in Mandarin Chinese. During college and for a year after graduating I worked as a scribe and clinical coordinator at a cardiac electrophysiology clinic. Some of my hobbies include basketball and volleyball (I love any sports), playing instruments and singing, reading, and spending time with my wife and two kids. The best advice I can give to someone pursuing a career in medicine is to surround yourself with people who will help and support you. The pathway to a career in medicine is long and hard, but it’s a lot easier and more enjoyable when the people around you can lift and encourage you when you are low and celebrate with you when you are high.
