Pharmacist Month

Please join the College of Pharmacy – Glendale and all pharmacy professionals in celebrating National Pharmacists Month during the month of October. The College has planned several events and informational sessions to highlight the role of the pharmacist in the healthcare team. Many of the displays and events will be held in the cafeteria or involve special guest speakers. All are welcomed to the events and guest speaker sessions. Tara Storjohann, Pharm.D.

Tara Storjohann is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Midwestern University College of Pharmacy in Glendale, Arizona.  Dr. Storjohann graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2001 with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree.  Upon graduation, she completed a Geriatric Specialty Residency at the VA Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Her initial academic appointment was at Midwestern University from 2002-2004 where she specialized in hyperlipidemia management and geriatrics.  Dr. Storjohann re-joined the faculty in 2009 and is the course director of a year-long

Andrew C. Yorgason, D.O.

Dr. Yorgason enjoys balancing his part-time appointment as clinical assistant professor with professional consulting and direct clinical work through Milchad Occupational Medicine Consulting, LLC. He has been teaching at the Glendale, Arizona campus since 2012 as an adjunct, and came on as a regular part-time faculty member in 2016. He has taught in the Master of Arts in Biomedical Science, Master of Biomedical Sciences, Dental Medicine, Podiatric Medicine, Master of Public Health, and Osteopathic Medicine programs. Andrew H Lee, Ph.D.

Dr. Lee received his Ph.D. in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2007. He began his postgraduate career as a Postdoctoral Fellow teaching and doing research at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2010, he joined Midwestern University, Glendale as an Assistant Professor of Anatomy. He was promoted to Associate Professor with Tenure in 2015.

Alice S Chapman, D.V.M., M.P.H., DACVPM

Dr. Alice S. Chapman is the Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) Program Director, and an Assistant Professor of Public Health and Epidemiology at Midwestern University. She leads the development and delivery of an online M.P.H. degree program in Global One Health at Midwestern University’s Glendale, AZ and Downers Grove, IL campuses. She earned a D.V.M. from North Carolina State University, an M.P.H. from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine. Dr. Chapman completed a 2-year field epidemiology

Dr. Elizabeth Pogge is an ambulatory care pharmacist that specializes in cardiology. She currently is a Professor at Midwestern University College of Pharmacy—Glendale (CPG) and a clinical pharmacist at Cardiac Solutions in Peoria, Arizona. Her interests include preceptor development, geriatrics, education, and cardiology.
