Midwestern University's Community Health Lecture Series - free monthly public lectures on healthcare topics open to our community neighbors - will return to the Glendale-Foothills Branch Library in 2014 and will also expand to the Phoenix-Juniper Branch Library.
The lectures, offered by MWU faculty healthcare experts, are free and open to the public and discuss a wide range of topics, including cancer screenings for women, adolescent scoliosis, diabetes and vision, and more.
Foothills lectures take place on the third Tuesday of each month, while Juniper lectures are scheduled for the first Thursday. Lectures at both libraries take place from 6:30-7:30 pm. Reservations are not neessary.
