The Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (CCOM) is accredited by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA). COCA is recognized as the accrediting agency for colleges of osteopathic medicine by the United States Office of Education and the Council of Postsecondary Accreditation (COPA). CCOM is currently accredited through 2016.

Physician Assistant Program

The PA Program was previously accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation, and by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs. The Program was granted continued accreditation by its successor agency, the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc. (ARC-PA), 12000 Findley Road, Suite 150, Johns Creek, GA 30097; 770/476-1224. This accreditation status enables graduating students to take the national certifying examination administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). The Midwestern University PA Program is a member of the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA), a national organization representing PA educational programs.

Midwestern University's Occupational Therapy Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), located at 4720 Montgomery Lane, P.O. Graduates of the program will be able to sit for the national certification examination for the occupational therapist administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Speech-Language Pathology Program

Speech-Language Pathology programs are accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). 

The Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Program at Midwestern University (MWU) has been granted candidacy for accreditation by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).  This "pre-accreditation" status with the CAA is awarded to qualified new programs for a maximum period of five years.  Students attending the MWU SLP Program are afforded the same benefits as those attending any accredited program.

The Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-Illinois is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and has been granted the accreditation status of "initial accreditation." Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine

The Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)/Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA). COCA is recognized as the accrediting agency for colleges of osteopathic medicine by the United States Department of Education and the Council of Postsecondary Accreditation (COPA). AZCOM is currently accredited through 2014 having received a 7 year accreditation in 2007.

Physician Assistant Program

The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) has granted Continued Accreditation to the Physician Assistant Program sponsored by Midwestern University-Glendale. Continued accreditation is an accreditation status when a currently accredited program is in compliance with the ARC-PA Standards

Continued Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes or withdraws from the accreditation process or until accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the Standards. The approximate date for the next comprehensive review of the program by the ARC-PA will be March 2016.

The Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine has been granted full accreditation by the Accreditation Committee of the Council on Podiatric Medical Education. College of Veterinary Medicine

The Arizona State Board of Private Postsecondary Education granted the University the authority to operate the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program on October 9, 2012. Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine received a Letter of Reasonable Assurance in June 2013 from the American Veterinary Medical Association.
